Personal Bio
I am a graphic/web designer with over 15 years field experience from production through project press run supervision. I use Dreamweaver and Adobe software at a professional level, but also have a solid understanding of HTML code. Please notice my work is varied and reflects the individual clients more than it does one designer "style". I am a classically trained illustrator and draw weekly at a open studio at the Washington Art Association, and show paintings at an artist co-op in Maine. You won't be disappointed if you hire me, my work will exceed your expectations, every time. That is why I thrive on it. I run my own business, do my own books and taxes. I am married with a 7 year old and 23 year old twins. I served in the US Coast Guard and I'm 47 years old.

Responsible for all design and scripting of all current sites, including working directly with clients to ensure satisfaction in both design and function. I use Dreamweaver, Ultra Dev, Image Ready, Photoshop 7, Fireworks , Flash , BBEdit. I can install and customize CGI scripts, route web forms, admin email, set ht access files, set permissions and have an understanding of the unix environment. Able to design using java scripts and CSS. Development of webstores using shopping cart software, database creation, SSL and online credit verification.

Art Director/ System Administrator, Star Struck Inc. 1995 - 1999

-Responsible for design and pre-press production of all advertising materials including; catalogs, print ads, flyers and battery card designs.

Supervisor of advertising department and three graphic designers.

Skilled in four color film separations, spot color, trapping, prepress, photo retouching, imaging and all major design programs.

System Administrator duties include; training of all new staff in system
maintenance, program installation, system hardware/software upgrades, font management and software troubleshooting.

Web Designer; development of online store including site design and graphics, excell database maintenance, integration of html with purchased cgi script, setting up all online software and dialup preferences, email form integration with existing catalog mail program and compiling credit card decryption software

Production department for children's book publisher. Responsibilities included; scanning, streamlining and illustrator work on cartoon characters for "Zippy" Japanese language books. Photo retouching and spot color work on "Anne's World, Anne of Green Gables" children's books series, history section.
